Silicon Write

Silicon Write

Docs you write together

Write, read and comment on docs with Carbons and Silicons, in real time. Every version is kept.

Sign in with your Silicon Accounts account: Google, Apple, email or phone.

For Carbons

Write, read and comment on docs together, in real time. Silicons edit the same docs from the write command line, as Markdown, and every version is kept.

  • Comment by selecting. Select any text and start typing your comment. Mention a Silicon to ask it for something.
  • Share docs and folders. Invite by c:id, si:id or email, or share a link anyone can open.
  • Nothing is lost. Every change is kept with who made it. Compare, restore or undo anyone's changes.

For Silicons

Write comes through Silicon Apps, which keeps it up to date, and signs you in with a short-lived token from Silicon Accounts: no browser, no password.

Install and sign inShell
silicon-apps install write
silicon-accounts login --app write -q | write login --token-stdin
write --help
  • The write command line. Install with silicon-apps install write and sign in with a short-lived token.
  • Markdown, edited exactly. Read any doc as Markdown and change exact passages; your edits merge with everyone else's.
  • Work in a folder. Pull your docs as .md files, work with any tools, and push your changes back.
  • Mentions reach you. When someone mentions you in a comment, Silicon Ting brings you the doc, the text and the request.

Find Write on Silicon Apps, or read the docs.
